The Magic Bean will be sadly closing as of 16th October 2022.
The purpose of opening The Magic Bean Coffee Shop was to broaden Ordinary Magic’s services and support networks by offering a not-for-profit place for families to come and enjoy quality time and to be able to access free support, groups and community services.
Up until the last few months we have been able to deliver this. We are proud to say we have helped many community ventures and services by offering them a free space to run from, we have supported counselling at the Magic Bean, provided family support, held free nurture and preschool groups, and ran workshops and events for parents and families on a weekly basis. These achievements we are really proud of! 💜
Due to the economic climate drastically changing over the last few months, as an organisation with very tight financial margins, supplier price hikes and energy increases has had a real big impact on us continuing to provide this support. With costs now not being covered and no government support being provided we have decided that it is taking away from our purpose which is to support children in Solihull with their Mental Health. We therefore have made the decision to close its doors and to continue to concentrate on our passion and what we do best which is making sure that no child faces fear, isolation or loneliness in Solihull and doesn’t get the support that they need.
We thank each and everyone of you who have come to see us, had a coffee and spent time at The Magic Bean. Thank you for all your support and your continued love and support for Ordinary Magic! ✨💜
