Some of you may know, this August is our 10th Anniversary since we reopened back in 2016! 😲
10 whole years is a massive achievement in these recent times with how tough the industry has been and we're super proud to still be here!

There's been many ups and downs over the years and we're truly thankful to each and everyone of our regulars old and new for continuing to support us as well as past and present staff who've worked with us over the years ❤️

We'd like to announce that we're holding a 10 year anniversary party for anyone to attend on Friday August 14th at The Maltings and The Chameleon.
The celebration is not only for the milestone we've managed to achieve, but to also celebrate our wonderful regulars old and new, that have supported us from day one.
It will be held all day upstairs (The Maltings) and downstairs (The Chameleon) where we'll have entertainment later in the day.

We'd like to invite anyone and everyone who's ever stepped foot in The Maltings over the past 10 years to come down and celebrate with us on Friday August 14th!

Today is definitely a winning Wednesday, with our double bill. England vs DR Congo kicks off at 5pm followed by our Big Cash Quiz at 730pm and several chances to win!

Congratulations to The Flappers who scooped our big jackpot of £370 last week. Will someone be walking away with one of our jackpots today?

Also a big thank you to everyone that donated last month as we raised £210 for WHiST (Women's Health in South Tyneside). Tonight we are fundraising for Luna Blu NE who do workshops and activities to help with your mental health and wellbeing.

We have a private wake in from 11:30AM to 4:30PM.

If you'd like to come down to The Maltings, we open to the public from 5PM 🍺

Sue Reynolds

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sue Reynolds, with her loving husband by her side.

A treasured wife to Ron, the love of his life and his soulmate.

A dearly loved mam to Stephen, Nicholas, Christopher and Katie, a beloved sister to the late David and Robin, a fantastic grandma to Lucas, Rhys, Amelia, Shelly, Alan, Jamie and Aidan, and a wonderful mother-in-law to Jackie, Kelly and Annabelle.

Sue was a great friend to many and brought warmth, strength and kindness to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

Her funeral service will take place at South Shields Crematorium on Friday 17th July at 1.15pm.

Following the service, all are warmly invited to join the family at The Maltings, South Shields, to celebrate Sue's life and share memories together.

Sue loved the colour purple, and everyone is welcome to honour her memory by wearing or adding a touch of purple to their outfit.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
