Tomorrow is Bridgette’s last day with us at Woodmill Coffee Kitchen, as she heads off for pastures new.
Bridgette has been such an important part of Woodmill for a long time. As our General Manager, she has given so much of herself to the business, the team, our customers, and the wonderful community that has grown around the café. Her hard work, care, energy and loyalty have been hugely appreciated by me personally, by everyone who works alongside her, and I know by so many of our regular customers too.
She will be very much missed — by us, by our customers, and most definitely by the many furry friends who visit us so regularly and always seem to know exactly where to find her.
We know the hot weather has meant lots of people have been staying close to home, especially those looking after dogs, but Bridgette would love to see as many familiar faces as possible before she goes. So, if you are nearby tomorrow, please do pop in and wish her well.
The lovely news is that Bridgette is not moving too far away. She is staying within the coffee world and joining our roaster, Deverroast, over in Botley. We wish her every success in her new role and look forward to welcoming her back to Woodmill soon — whether that is for a cup of coffee, something a little stronger, or just a good catch-up as we stay in touch and remain firm friends.
From all of us, thank you Bridgette. You have made a huge difference here, and we are so grateful for everything you have done.
I am also really pleased to share that Jess Campbell will be stepping into a new role with us as General Manager at Woodmill Coffee Kitchen. Jess will continue the great work Bridgette has done and will help drive Woodmill forward with fresh ideas, new energy and some exciting plans as we continue to grow.
