It was a pleasure to host The Kintyre Challenge today, a lovely crowd indeed.

One of the group was Dougie Vipond and he was very kind to let us take a picture with our staff. Penelope Jane Lyons and myself were very excited , the younger girls were a bit baffled 😂and I felt very old ! 😂

Good luck to everyone playing at Machrihanish Dunes tomorrow .

Today at Dunaverty Golf Club, Jim Hartsell will be signing his new book A Round of Scottish Golf Courses’. Green 2 pm and 4pm .

Look forward to seeing some of you there but this means we will be limited for tables today!!

The 2nd Open competition at Dunaverty Golf Club for 2026 is the Doyen Open which is on Sunday 12th April 2026. This is a very popular pairs event where both players Stableford scores count towards the final team total. This event WILL fill up quickly so please get in asap. Thank you for supporting our club.

Wow ! What a day!!

Thank you to everyone who visited today.

I am really sorry if you had to wait a bit longer than usual but we were extremely busy. We overbooked slightly (my fault! 🙈) but we worked as hard as we could to get everyone served .
I hope everyone enjoyed their lunch and please believe me when I say it’s not always like that !! 😂😂
