Join us this evening as the wonderful Pistol Pete Wearn performs here at The Little George!

Pistol Pete Wearn is a singer-songwriter and solo acoustic blues artist who performs raucous and upbeat material accompanied by fingerpicked guitar and a stomping foot. His music has been played on BBC Radio 2, described as “as true as it gets” by Blues Blast magazine & twice-awarded ‘Solo Blues Artist of The Year’ by Moonshine Magazine.

Since its release in May 2023 his latest album Blues, Ballads & Barnstormers has received airplay on BBC Radio 2, reached the top 40 of the IBBA Album chart and the RMR Contemporary Blues chart and been described in one review as “an album to listen to in the evening by the campfire, with your head in the stars and a drink in your hand...”.

He can also be heard providing the sound of fictional zombie country singer, C**t Swanson, in the hit videogame Dead Island 2.

We'd planned on writing this with "It's Coming Home"... but apparently football had other ideas.

No matter. Sunday is still shaping up to be a cracking afternoon and evening at The Little George.

We're delighted to welcome Ed Davies live on Sunday 19th July.

Ed has been performing live for over 17 years, fronting successful bands as well as entertaining crowds as a solo artist. His energetic performances are packed with soul classics, indie anthems, sing-along favourites and a selection of his own original songs. If you're looking for an afternoon and evening of great live music, this is one not to miss.

We'll also be showing the World Cup Final live, so if you picked Spain or Argentina in our sweepstake, there's still everything to play for.

And after Wednesday night... perhaps we'll all be cheering on Spain as our adopted second home.

Whether you're coming for the football, the music, a few drinks with friends, or all of the above, we'd love to see you.

We've hired in a whopping 154" outdoor screen, courtesy of , so you won't miss a second of England's biggest game yet. Add that to all our usual indoor and outdoor TVs, and wherever you're sitting, you'll have a cracking view of the action.

Get here early to grab your seat – once the game starts, you won't want to move.

To keep you fuelled through the 90 minutes (and hopefully beyond!), we'll be serving our World Cup menu throughout:

England are just **three games away from lifting the World Cup**, but first they have to get past Norway.

**Kick-off: 10pm, Saturday 11th July**

If you're planning on joining us, get down early to secure your spot. The outside bar will be open, the atmosphere will be electric, and we're expecting another huge crowd.

**A quick heads-up:** from **9pm we'll be switching to plastic cups** for all new drinks.

**BUT...** if you've already got yourself an extra-cold Guinness or Poretti in a proper pint glass before 9pm, we're not taking it off you. Keep your mitts on it and you're welcome to top it up throughout the night by decanting your fresh pint into your glass.

Arrive after 9pm? It's **plastic cups only**.
