Floral Artistry

They take forever to make and require focus, precision and patience. A lot of patience… 😵‍💫
Each petal is hand cut, conditioned, veined and shaped to later become a delicate and as realistic looking as possible flower.

And although the process is long and slow I absolutely love to immerse myself in it and lose track of time.

Making flowers is my favourite form of mindfulness and meditation! What’s yours?

I am so excited to finally be able to share with you my last cake of 2023!

With only two weeks lead time, this cake was a true labour of love but also one of the most challenging and most exciting projects in my career!

With hundreds, if not thousands (I lost count after 700!😬) of individually cut, painted, shaped and wired leaves the pressure was definitely on to finish it on time.
But I did it! And I’m so in love with it! ❤️
