The Long Table. A totem in our café and of Unorthodox Roasters. So much meaning. So many memories. We built this, many moons ago in 2016, before we even thought about buying a proper coffee machine. The scaffold boards cost us a few quid and the legs were “borrowed” from our co-owners’s old work place - The Cotton House. Incidentally, they were our first ever wholesale client and continue to this day to serve our coffee in their restaurant.

This table has seen it all. Proud mums and dads with their newborns, splendid parties at Christmas and super serious chats about where the business is going. Spills, splashes - and dare we even admit - a few sugar stirrers lodged between the scaffold board lengths. The beauty is that it is a communal spirit of great coffee and our immense customers. The French call it le rendez-vous des amis. The meeting place of friends. That’s exactly what it is - a cornerstone of what makes Unorthodox Roasters special and unique. A place to share, care and lose yourself in the reverie 🤍

Martin the maestro and his incredible partner Laura have created a gem in Linlithgow. A super family friendly haven of phenomenal food, great coffee and top tier hospitality.

Aran is the brekky, lunchy, brunchy soul of Linlithgow. Serving up our Wee Stoater for espresso based coffees at the heart of their operation.

It’s busy, bustling and good vibes! Wild Hearth breads and focaccias and a sensational selection of gifty goods to take home.

Make the trip. It’s worth it.
