🎉 We’re leaping towards 70 years of MAC! 🎉

With the incredible support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we’re stepping towards our 70th year with renewed energy, celebrating the culture, creativity, and community that have shaped MAC’s story for generations.

From our very first days to the vibrant place we are today, MAC has always been powered by people- the artists, audiences, volunteers, partners, supporters, families, and friends who have all played a part in our journey.

🏆 We’re also proud to celebrate being High Sheriff of Staffordshire Award winners- a recognition of the impact, dedication, and community spirit that sits at the heart of everything we do.

This October half term, it’s time to celebrate! You’re invited to join us as we bring everyone we do and everyone that’s been part of our story.

Together, let’s gaze towards the next chapter and celebrate 70 years of MAC and the many more adventures still to come.

At Mitchell Arts Centre, one of our key aims is to raise the ambitions of young people across Stoke-on-Trent by encouraging them to experience opportunities beyond the city and connect with new people, places, and ideas.

Thanks to the fantastic support of the The Hubb Foundation, we're offering a FREE trip in partnership with our friends over at Derby Theatre for young people eligible for Free School Meals. It's a chance to see how another producing theatre works and broaden horizons.

The visit will be the grand finale to an exciting 6-day stage experience, following an incredible week performing on our very own home stage at Mitchell Arts Centre.

If your child is eligible for Free School Meals and would love to be part of this unique experience, we'd love to welcome them.

Thanks to the incredible support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, we're thrilled to be working in partnership with artist Chloe Breeze to create a brand-new mural at Mitchell Arts Centre!

This special artwork will take us on a journey through our history, celebrating the people, performances and memories that have made Mitchell Arts Centre what it is today – from 1957 right through to the present day.

Now we'd love your help! 💙
