3 years ago, we opened the doors to Redcloak Fish Bar for the very first time — and what an incredible 3 years it has been.
Looking back, we didn’t quite know what to expect, but it has far exceeded anything we could ever have imagined. The last 3 years have brought us plenty of laughs, some unbelievably busy nights, and so many national awards for our fish and chips.
From being named Best Newcomer in our very first year, to winning the Drywite Ltd Young Fish Frier of the Year award, being crowned home of the UK’s Best Chips with the Field to Frier award, and even being recognised as one of the Top 10 fish and chip shops in the whole of the UK — it’s been an unbelievable journey.
But none of this would have been possible without our amazing team, past and present. Every achievement and everything we do here comes down to their hard work, commitment, and dedication. They’ve all shared our passion for serving incredible fish and chips, and we’re so grateful for every single one of them.
And of course, thank you to you — our local community and fantastic customers. Thank you for every like, every shared post, every recommendation, and every time you’ve walked through our doors to support our small business. Without you, we wouldn’t get to do what we love every day.
