☀️Good Morning Taunton ☀️
There are lots of great parks around Taunton but French weir Park has to be up near the top!
It’s has a brilliant fenced off play area for the little kids alongside an area for older kids including a zip wire and climbing equipment. You also have The Weir cafe for food and refreshments, the River Tone and COACH Centre for Outdoor Activities & Community Hub for organised river activities….across the bridge you can get to longrun meadow which is a great place to walk your dog off lead (don’t forget the park itself requires dogs on leads).

Taunton Town Council are responsible for the park and Friends of French Weir Park do a wonderful job looking after it.

I remember when this park wasn’t a particularly pleasant park to walk through so it’s great to see how much it’s changed in my lifetime, well done to all involved.
