Please back your favourite small independent businesses, help your high street and support local jobs? Then sign our petition to lower the rate of VAT for hospitality to 10%.
Our cafes, restaurants, pubs, hotels, nightclubs and many more, are at the heart of our communities.
They bring people together and bring life to our towns, cities and villages, but they're under huge pressure from rising costs.
In the UK, we pay one of the highest VAT rates in Europe. 20% extra in VAT for your meal out or stay away. In France, Spain and Italy, it's 10%. In Germany? 7%.

Our message to Government is simple. Let's stand together to say VAT at 10% is fair for hospitality.

Open from 10am Monday to Saturday, Hommity Pies, Brixham Crab, Smoked Chicken and Heritage Tomato salad with a fresh mint dressing, Sourdough topped with Honey roasted Figs, whipped Goats cheese and toasted seeds on our specials board. Of course the best cream tea around and lots of homemade cakes to choose from including gluten free options, and much more. Come rain or shine we will cheer you up 🌞🥰

STAFF WANTED
we are looking for someone to join our mad 🤪slightly ageing team. Must have experience front of house THIS IS ESSENTIAL (At least 3 yrs in a busy establishment) you must be prepared to work Saturdays and some Sundays , and happy to pitch in whenever needed. 2-3 days a week with holiday cover from the end of June, and more days during the height of season.
