We’ll be opening from 8pm so you can join us to cheer on England. Grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy the match with us.

🧠 Thursday Night Quiz Night
Our quiz is fully booked (thank you!), but there’s still plenty of room to join us at the bar and soak up the atmosphere.

🍕 Pizza Night Returns
We’ll be serving our pizzas throughout quiz night, so if you fancy great food, a few drinks, and some friendly competition, we’ve got you covered. (Please note our regular menu will not be running that night)

Not joining us for the quiz? Our pizzas are also available to take away, so you can enjoy one from the comfort of home.

It's probably the question we hear more than any other...

"When are you going to open 7 days?"

Well, we can finally say... we're going to give it a try! 🎉

From 13th July, we'll be trialling 7-day opening until October.

So whether it's a coffee, lunch, dinner or just a catch-up with friends, you'll be able to pop in every day of the week.

We'll be serving food and drinks, with opening times to be shared soon ☕️🍴

As always, thank you to our amazing local community for your support. You've been asking for it for a while, so let's see how it goes 💛

Over the past two years, our pub has become a very different business from the one we took on.

Like many hospitality businesses, we've had to adapt to rising costs, changing customer habits and the challenges facing our industry. As we look ahead, we're reviewing how we operate to ensure the business remains sustainable for the long term, not just for us, but for our customers too.

As part of this process, we'll be investing in some much-needed kitchen improvements and replacing equipment that is reaching the end of its working life.

To allow this work to take place, our kitchen will be closed from 8th–9th July aiming to reopen on the 10th 🤞. The pub itself will remain open as normal, so you'll still be able to join us for drinks and enjoy the atmosphere.

We're confident these changes will help us improve our offering and put the business in a stronger position for the future. We'll be sharing more exciting updates over the coming weeks, so keep an eye on our page 👀

Hospitality businesses like ours pay 20% VAT on food and drink. Meanwhile, we're battling rising costs, energy bills, and doing everything we can to keep our doors open and our community together.
10% VAT for hospitality is fair. It's not a handout, it's a lifeline.
Pubs, restaurants, and cafés are the heartbeat of every town and village. Without urgent reform, more of them will close, and once they're gone, they don't come back.
As Tom Kerridge and the team behind the movement put it, when hospitality closes, communities don't just lose somewhere to eat and drink. They lose connection, opportunity, and local identity. And 100,000 jobs have gone in the last two years alone.
