Here is a link with some information provided by Assistance Dogs UK, which may be helpful to local dog owners and visitors to Tenby. PCC have recently accepted that the beach Byelaw signs are misleading, as they only mention Guide Dogs.

Hurricane winds today in Tenby 😲 If you are visiting this week with a Dog, pop down to Dennis Cafe on Castle Beach. They are super dog friendly, you can shelter from the wind, and there are big windows with clear views across to Caldey Island. Hearing Dog Riley was here a few weeks ago when the weather was better and sat outside. Registered Assistance Dogs are allowed on Tenby Beaches all year round 🤩 🥰

I had the best boat crossing to Caldey Island today and met some wonderful people who kindly supported Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Stephen was visiting today and told me he hadn't been to Caldey for a long time. He lived in Tenby until he was 18 and has very happy memories of his time at school and on the beach with his mates. Do you recognise him? Mr Colgrave is 73 and doing well except for a wonky knee 😂 Thanks for the chat and a Cwtch 🌟

Hearing Dog, Riley, visited Tenby a couple of weeks ago. He lives in Carmarthen and is currently the nearest. He had a lovely time checking out how accessible the area is for working Dogs. Boats from Castle Beach welcome assistance dogs all year round.

The play area next to the Cafe on Caldey Island is looking good in the autumn sun. Big Spider didn't scare our Hearing Dog and the Seal was glad of some company ❤ All hand made from wood brought down in recent storms.

Lovely trip over to Caldey Island this morning. We made friends with Pippa, from Yorkshire, travelling with some Hearing Dog supporters. We got to go on the Amphibious Landing Craft.....with the help of the Boat Crew, who took good care of everyone 🥰 🐕

St John's Church Tenby showed their true colours on Sunday. After the morning service they opened their doors to help Iron Man supporters, parents with children and locals, offering refreshments and toilet facilities. Outside in the rain until 6pm. What an amazing thing to do. Thank you for your kindness 😇 ❤ Many thanks for allowing Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to promote the charity to visitors 🐕 ❤

Thank you Caldey Island for supporting Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. I had a lovely day sitting on a bench in the village with my doggy friend. The boat men were very kind and helped us on and off 🙂

I relaxed and crocheted some sunflower coasters. Some visitors took a pattern home to have a go. A lovely memory of their visit and somewhere to put a cup of tea 🥰 See you again next week, weather permitting 👍

Meadow Farm Campsite on the top of North Cliffe, near Allen's View, support Hearing Dogs and all Assistance Dogs. The owners gives out helpful information to all dog owners who stay on their site. Tenby is lucky to have so many friendly businesses who aim to make visitors stay as happy and welcoming as possible 💕
