Behind the bar you will find the manager Tom Goldsmith always ready to pour you a decent pint or good glass of wine. The James Figg is a free house offering a selection of four British ales and regular changing guest ales from across the UK. We also offer four fantastic lagers, but if that’s not your flavour we also have Aspall Suffolk Draught Cyder and Aspall Harry Sparrow as well as a selection
of spirits and mixers. The James Figg is part of Peach Pubs, a collection of really great pubs, mainly in market towns in the heart of England, that serve good quality, fresh, honest food and drink in relaxed, welcoming surroundings. Food is served Monday-Saturday noon till 9pm and Sunday noon till 6pm. The Stables can be used to hold dinner parties, birthday parties or ‘do’s’ just behind the main pub. Our pub offers a fantastic open fire for those cold wintery days, going well with a nice warming glass of red wine, or even a bottle, also offering a fantastic beer garden set behind the stables, an idyllic space perfect for lazing on sunny afternoons with a pint in hand or a nice chilled bottle of wine.
