A massive weekend of sport at The Woolpack!

From international rugby to World Cup football, we’ve got it all covered on the big screens. And to top it all off, we’ll also be showing the final round of The Open for any golf fans.

Harviestoun Haggis Hunter (4.3%). A cracking amber ale with a smooth, malty flavour and a lovely balanced finish. Don’t let the name put you off… it tastes far better than chasing haggis up a hill.

Alongside it is Harviestoun Stout (4.5%), a rich, dark, easy-drinking stout with roasted coffee and chocolate notes that’s perfect if you’re after something a bit more full-bodied.

We’re absolutely buzzing to announce that the incredible Sara McCrorie is making her Woolpack debut on Saturday 8th August.

Sara is one of the best local vocalists around… and we’ve somehow managed to get her through the door.

If you’ve heard her before, you’ll know exactly why we’re so excited.
If you haven’t… trust us, you’re in for one hell of a night.

This is Sara’s first time playing The Woolpack, and we’re expecting it to be a busy one. Get down early, grab a drink, and be part of what promises to be a brilliant night of live music.

We’ve got the brilliant Maddison Nisbet live from 7pm, bringing another cracking night of live music to the pub. If you’ve seen her before, you’ll know you’re in for a great night. If you haven’t, now’s your chance.

We’ll also have the rugby on during the day, so whether you’re calling in for the match, the music, or making a day of it, we’ve got you covered.

The World Cup’s all very exciting and that…

…but now it’s time for a proper game.

Rugby takes over The Woolpack this Saturday with a full afternoon and evening of Nations Championship action on the big screens.

Cold pints, cracking atmosphere and plenty of top-class international rugby, finishing with Scotland taking on Argentina under the lights.

See you at the bar… where the tackles are bigger and the players don’t spend 10 minutes rolling about because someone brushed their shoulder.
