The Lost Kitchen’s ethos is to use the best possible ingredients with provenance. We aim to find this as locally as we can, following thorough research, supplier visits and tastings. We are passionate about sourcing quality, local, fresh ingredients, with traceability. We love food that springs from seasonally inspired dishes created using only the best, carefully and locally sourced natural ingre

dients enhanced by with edible flowers, herbs and heritage vegetable varieties from the area local to our kitchen cafe. We are inspired by and respectful of the produce we work with and appreciate its exceptional taste and quality’ so are proud to present these ingredients for our diners to enjoy. In turn, the small farmers and artisan producers who grow and make the ingredients benefit from our support – a virtuous circle which we are passionate in continuing to add reputable quality suppliers of delicious food.

Whilst our Lost & Found shop has been minimised to create space for continued growth at The Lost Kitchen, we still have a small curated shop dresser where you’ll find a selection of thoughtful pieces including artisan cards, candles and items from independent makers across the Southwest 🛍️

We’ve recently added a selection of colourful coaster sets, which bring a lovely pop of colour to the dresser and make a perfect small gift or something to enjoy at home.

A small collection, but one we’re still very fond of, always focused on supporting independent makers where we can ✨

In celebration of National Cheese Day, here’s a look at our current cheeseboard 🧀

A carefully selected balance of English cheeses, supplied by Country Cheeses of Tavistock, currently featuring Redlap Goats Cheese, Blue Bay Blue, Montgomery Cheddar and Bath Soft Brie.

From the creamy, rinded character of Redlap to the bold depth of an extra mature Montgomery, each cheese brings something a little different to the board.

Our cheeseboard changes regularly with the seasons, so the selection above reflects what we’re currently serving ✨

Our Lost in Print creative workshops continue this June at The Lost Kitchen 🌻

We’ll be welcoming Nat from Print Nineteen back on Wednesday 10th June (6.30–9pm) for a relaxed evening of designing, carving and printing your own mini prints, greeting cards or wrapping paper.

In our last session, we explored lino block printing on paper, spending the evening experimenting with shape, colour and process, a lovely midweek space for slowing down and making by hand.

✨ Each workshop is £45pp and includes all materials and light refreshments.

Details and booking are available via our website. If a session is fully booked, you’re very welcome to contact The Lost Kitchen to join the waiting list, we’ll be in touch if a space becomes available.

Lost Flower Club is now fully booked for June, with next availability in July.

Thinking ahead to Father’s Day ✨

With Father’s Day on the horizon, The Lost Kitchen is a lovely place to gather with good food, seasonal flavours and time well spent together.

We’d love to welcome you for the occasion. As it’s always a popular weekend here, we recommend booking ahead if you’re hoping to join us. Once we are fully booked, you’re very welcome to join our waiting list, though we are unlikely to be able to accommodate walk-ins on the day.

If you’re unable to join us on Father’s Day itself, a Lost Kitchen Gift Voucher makes a thoughtful gift, giving you the chance to return whenever suits. Beautifully printed vouchers are available to purchase in person, or alternatively, digital vouchers can be purchased via our website.

There’s something special about arriving at The Lost Kitchen this time of year 🌼

Pulling into the car park and being met by the bank of daisies and seasonal blooms in full flower, climbing the steps with the scent of the garden in the air, then settling in for a woodfired menu, followed by cake and coffee overlooking the Devon countryside.

Which is your favourite season at Lost?
