Right... another week, another excuse for us to play with new dishes... also swipe right to see the amazing kimchi... we make it in house and it takes bloody ages!.. also you can see the winners of the Disney quiz... much fun was had... next normal quiz is on the 26th.. book online...

This week's line-up:

Judías Asadas – Miso buttered green beans with whipped chilli crisp yoghurt, toasted pumpkin seeds and lime.

Sweetcorn Ribs – Crispy sweetcorn ribs, finished with a fresh lime crema.

Kimchi-Bokkeumbap – Sticky rice with kimchi and fried egg

And behind the bar...

White Peach Sangria – White wine, yuzu-infused sake, peach, apple and fresh mint. It's dangerously easy to drink.

As always, we only make a limited amount of these specials, so once they're gone, they're gone. If there's something that catches your eye, don't leave it too long.

Good morning!!

At last some days when we can actually enjoy the sunshine and not be melted like the wicked witch! (She didn't seem that wicked in my mind!)

Few cheeky updates...

Wednesday... open as normal despite the football, indeed we will be a haven away from that... so if you want to kick back and listen to some 80s 90s vibes while drinking cocktails pop on in...

Sundays have now got bigger! We now open Sunday evening. Perfect chilled sunday vibes. So our opening hours are now.. 12-3 5-10 every sunday!

Our themed pub quizzes are back, and this time we're heading to Hogwarts.

A few new specials have landed this week...

We've been making the most of what's in season, along with a few ingredients we've been wanting to play with for a while... including tomatillos, which have finally found their way onto the menu.

Judías Asadas
Miso buttered green beans, whipped chilli crisp yoghurt, toasted pumpkin seeds & lime.

Tonkatsu Ribs
Crispy panko-coated pork ribs with our tomato salsa verde, made with tomatillos for a fresher, sharper finish.

Momo-Mess
Yuzu cream, mango & passion fruit, glazed peaches, meringue, blueberries & pomegranate. It's fresh, light and feels like summer in a bowl.

Behind the bar we've also got our White Peach Sangria back. White wine, yuzu-infused sake, peach, apple and fresh mint over ice.

We've only made a limited amount of everything, so if there's something you fancy, don't leave it too long.

We've got a couple of new specials on this week, and they're definitely on the indulgent side...

Dulce del Sol
A warm waffle topped with silky dulce de leche, honeycomb ice cream and dark chocolate. Simple, messy and worth every bite.

Crimson Yuzu Sangria
A summery mix of fruity red wine, our house yuzu & lemon-infused sake, a splash of orange and fresh fruit.

White Peach Sangria
Crisp white wine, yuzu & lemon-infused sake, peach, cloudy apple and fresh mint. Light, refreshing and dangerously easy to drink.

Perfect if you're making the most of the sunshine. Available this week while they last.

Our pub quizzes have been so much fun lately that we're making them a regular thing!

From now on we'll be hosting a quiz every other Sunday evening. One quiz will be our usual general knowledge, and the next will be a themed night to keep things interesting.

Don't panic if you're not a Disney expert for the next one on **Sunday 12th** – there are plenty of silly rounds, picture rounds and multiple-choice questions, so everyone has a chance of winning.

To make a proper evening of it, the kitchen will now be open from **5pm** on quiz nights too.

I'll announce the prize, as soon as I can find a cardboard cutout of Jafar...
