Happy 1st of June 😁 where's the time going? Thanks as always for a total sell out last week and thank you to Kyle & Will for having us along to feed their hungry guests at their wedding on Saturday. This week we will be at Platform 22 on Thursday 4 June 5pm-8pm where Emma and David will happily serve you a drink while you wait for your pizzas or while you sit in and enjoy them. On Friday 5 June we will be at Hill of Banchory Coop 4.30pm-7.30pm We really look forward to seeing you all. Now I am off to start my swimming. Have a great week!

A HUGE BIG THANK YOU to our heros Gavin, Ian,Stuart, Steve & Billy! Who worked in record time and got 4 tons of concrete round the back & poured by doors opening.
We have the most amazing friends & customers and are feeling very lucky!

Friday is here .. we have nearly all the shop chores done early today, because we have a big old truck delivering concrete at 9am! 💪💪💪💪💪💪
It will be all hands on deck barrowing it round the back of the shop .. meanwhile Emma & Rebecca will be in P22 with restorative caffeine boosts & fine pieces for our hero volunteers & you when we open at 10am!

📢📢 Quick call for help!! 📢📢

As part of our project to extend Platform 22 we are needing to pour some more concrete tomorrow morning (Friday 29th) at 9am!

If you have an hour (or 2 max!) we would hugely appreciate some volunteers to come help us please, to barrow it from the cement truck to round the back of the property.
We'll of course treat you to a cuppa & fine piece at the end to restore your strength for the rest of the day!

Our stallholders are busying themselves setting up their pitches for a glorious sunny market day and we are all looking forward to seeing you soon!

We are busy pulling together the last few "things to do" in Platform 22 before opening at 10am, and Katy's Eggs are due to deliver any minute now. David has worked his scone magic and the croissants are almost baked! As for our eats and treats ... hope you are hungry!

Phew, what a scorcher! 🥵 Between the hot stove, two blazing ovens and making caramel, the P22 kitchen was matching the toasty weather outside today.

I've made all sorts of goodies! Including a Sweet Cherry & Port Torte, as well as a (new to my repertoire) rather wicked Dark Chocolate Caramel & Hazelnut Slice! Oh I say ~ simply divine!

David is keeping everyone guessing on his savoury & sweet scone lineup for tomorrow morning, so we'll just have to wait and see what he dreams up! In the meantime, I can confirm he’s making a delicious Courgette & Dill Soup for our market day lunch.
