We've very pleased to let you know that we have a new member of the team working in our customer service department called Sorcha. We felt that we were missing a little of our personal contact and so we're pleased to let you know that Sorcha is in our office, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 10am - 2pm.

Sorcha has hit the ground running and says about joining DFK:

"I love good food and have always enjoyed providing great customer service, so I was excited to join DFK for the opportunity to put the skills I've gained working in retail and food service to good use, supporting such a worthy enterprise. I've really enjoyed getting to know the friendly team here at DFK and getting to chat to all our lovely customers. It's fantastic to see the whole process from our chefs working in the kitchen, through to ordering and then delivering our range of meals, and I can't wait to see how we grow into the future."

We're really pleased to have her join the team.

Of course, if you're unable to call between those hours, there will always be someone on hand to answer your call from our friendly out of hours helpline. They will ask you a few more questions, just so that they can ensure that we're delivering to the right person at the right address.

Our kitchen has had an upgrade too!

After recently expanding our cold storage facilities, it was time to give our kitchen a little more room as well.

We're still proudly cooking from Rainbow House in Torquay, but with a larger kitchen and improved workflow, our chefs now have more space to hand-prepare the deliciously satisfying frozen ready meals you know and love—using the same locally sourced ingredients and no production lines or machines.

These improvements will also help us develop our product range in the future.

We've been busy working in the background...

At Devon Farm Kitchen we've been busy working in the background to improve our operations so that we can make sure that we're still delivering great tasting frozen meals in South Devon. We're so pleased to announce that we added new cold storage capabilities, meaning we can store more of our deliciously satisfying dishes!

Spare a thought for the team at 7am picking the orders in sub zero temperatures!

"I am more or less a vegetarian, only eat chicken when I'm desperate. Veggi moussaka and catalonia fish stew and smoked haddock crowder are delicious and I love all three. They are so easy to cook and with or without extra veggies are a substantial meal."

Many of our customers tell us the same thing:

Long summer evenings are on their way...especially heading down to the beach to pick up an ice cream in the sunshine.

If you haven't tried our ice creams, why not stock up at home? You won't want to miss out trying some our favourite flavours - we even have a range of sorbets to help with the hotter weather.

We were invited to a wonderful event at where local producers shared their stories and produce.

It was particularly amazing to see behind the scenes from a farmers point of view..to head their challenges and commitment to sustainable beef farming

Bank holiday update

There’s another bank holiday coming this Monday. While we’d usually be delivering in the Torbay area, there are some slight amendments to the delivery schedule.

If you’re in the TQ1 or TQ2 area, your alternative delivery days are 22nd of May or 26th of May.

If you’re in the TQ3, TQ4 or TQ5 area, your alternative delivery days are 21st of May or 28th of May.

It’s looking like it’s going to be a warm one, so make sure to stay well hydrated.
