So the World Cup Starts today but it finishes on Monday 20th of July (yes we know the final is on Sunday 19th) at our World Cup Party, so if you have booked that day off work in anticipation of the boys "Bringing it Home", take Tuesday off as well. Last night our Sweepstake was drawn with some upset customers not getting the teams that they wanted and some happy souls, come into the pub to find out who got who. Monday 20th July will be the prizegiving and the reveal of the Mystery Sweepstake. Yorkshire Tapas and 50p per pint off all draught beers; make it a date, hopefully one to remember 60 years on!

Our magnificent mistress of mysteries, Mel the Marvellous, will be masterfully managing a multitude of mind-mangling questions, puzzling posers and teasing trivia designed to test even the sharpest scholars, brightest boffins and most knowledgeable know-it-alls.
