We were excited to welcome professional fashion and beauty photographer for an inspiring photography session with our young people. 🌟

With some of our young people already exploring photography as their DofE skill, Agata shared how her own hobby grew into a career and showed that you don’t need expensive equipment to get started. Creativity, curiosity and practice are what matter most!

The group explored photography, took part in a fun orange-themed challenge and had a go with Agata’s professional camera. 📷

A huge well done to Ruth, Louise and Jemma from our EmployAbility Team, for taking on the The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Trek Together hike over the weekend 👣 👏

Despite the hot weather, the amazing team took in the beautiful scenery of Windsor Great Park, Runnymede and Windsor Castle. Together, they've raised over £500 for the DofE charity, an incredible achievement! 🏰🏅

Working together to get race day ready 🚵🌿

The Growth Team has been helping prepare the trails at Coverwood Farm ahead of this weekend's Hurtwood Enduro mountain bike race.

From clearing paths and cutting back vegetation to making the trails safe after storm damage, the team has been working hard while building new skills, enjoying the outdoors and making a real difference.

A big thank you to everyone at Coverwood Farm for the brilliant opportunity, and good luck to everyone taking part in the Hurtwood Enduro this weekend 🚴

Everyone's voice matters. That's what is all about. 🗣️

Our Self-Advocacy Group joined an Advocacy Safety Awareness Day at , where they spent the day learning about personal safety, sharing their experiences and taking part in group discussions.

The event gave everyone the opportunity to speak up, listen to others and learn together. And of course, there was time for some fun too, with the chance to try on police uniforms 👮✨

It was a brilliant day of learning, connection and confidence-building, showing the value of creating spaces where people can contribute, be heard and learn from one another. 💙

Celebrating 🌟

On Tuesday, we came together to celebrate Shared Lives Week with our fantastic Shared Lives team, Carers, and the people supported by the service.

We saw many familiar faces alongside new ones, including former colleagues and Shared Lives Plus Community representative Cathy. We heard from Robert, who shared his experiences of living in a Shared Lives placement and spoke about the many places he has visited and adventures he has enjoyed with his Carers. ✈️

With the sun shining, a competitive game of giant Jenga, and plenty of delicious cake, it was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the relationships, achievements, and community spirit that make Shared Lives so special.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and our wonderful team at the Lucan Tea Room for hosting us. ❤
