Seriously relaxed dining with a family golfing centre to boot. Named after the local area on which the pub sits with a nod to historic alcoholic beverages of old. Formerly the site of the original East Herts Golf Club it became Chadwell Springs 9 hole Golf course in 1974. The land is formed over chalk caves, the risk of which was highlighted when a seven-foot tree planted one day was below ground

the next! It is the water in these caves that to this day is used in the brew of McMullens local ales. Fresh food, fine wines, local hand crafted ales from the Hertford Brewery and ethical coffee have all been selflessly and fastidiously tested โ€“ just to be sure things are perfect for you. Enjoy the pub on its own or after the driving range, putting green, 9 hole course or foot golf- the perfect way to build an appetite for the entire family. All that comes delightfully wrapped up in this charming pub with roaring log fires, heated patio and crammed full of cosy private nooks and crannies.

We like to keep outdoor dining seriously relaxed, so hereโ€™s how it works:

โ˜€๏ธ Find a table and make a note of the table number
โ˜€๏ธ Pick up a menu from our outdoor station and have a browse
โ˜€๏ธ When youโ€™re ready to order, simply order and pay online via the McMullenโ€™s app or head to the bar
โ˜€๏ธ Prefer table service? Where possible, a member of the team will be happy to assist with ordering and payment at your table
โ˜€๏ธ Then leave the rest to us, sit back, relax and enjoy the sunshine

A few things to note:
- Well behaved dogs are very welcome.
- Please be considerate of others when smoking and use the ashtrays provided.
