Hello lovely people. Not Just Sundaes community café is run almost entirely by volunteers, and we are a bit challenged at the moment because illness and injury mean that several people who normally volunteer with us are not able to do so just now. We really need a few volunteers who would be happy to use a coffee machine (barista training will be provided – you don't need to know how to use one already), make lunches, take orders, and help clear up at the end of the day. Just one of those skills would be really useful. We are open Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 2 pm (though if you volunteer to help clear up it might be more like 2.45.) Training will be given if you would like to learn a new skill. We currently particularly need people on a Wednesday, but if you have an hour or two free during any of our opening hours and a bit of café volunteering appeals to you – we would love to hear from you. NJS will be reopening Tuesday 31st January at 12 noon.

As we head towards winter, we're pleased to say that the Warm Space is now up and running at Not Just Sundaes Community Cafe in South Street. 2pm to 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please spread the word!
