We may have created a monster…

Meet our brand NEW Kinder Brownie Caramel Bars!

A thick slab of our signature chocolate brownie, topped with Kinder spread and a layer of homemade chewy caramel, then the whole thing is covered in chocolate, drizzled with more Kinder and finished with chopped Kinder bars.

Because apparently a normal brownie just wasn’t enough.

These are making their debut in the cake cabinet this week… and we have a feeling they might not hang around for long.

Who thinks they could manage one? We look forward to seeing you all this week. TOTG X

Well… today’s post needed updating before we’d even managed to post it!

A few of the bakes we had lined up for today’s post sold out yesterday, so we’ve had a little Sunday reshuffle!

Today’s line-up includes the frankly ridiculous Wispa Gold & Cocoa Pops Cookie Stack, Chocolate Cake & Mini Egg Cookie Stack, Star Bar Cookie Stack and our new Biscoff Millionaire Flapjack.

And, as always, there’s plenty more filling the cake cabinet too.

We’re open from 11am - 4.30pm today — but judging by this weekend so far, we’re making absolutely no promises about how long everything will last!

This summer is never ending… so we may as well keep feeding you cake.!

While the rest of us are wondering if we’re ever going to see a cloud again, the Tea on the Green cake cabinet has had another little shake-up…

And there are some NEW additions

Well, these turned out slightly bigger than planned…

Say hello to our NEW Lemon Swirl Scones!

Big, soft lemon scones swirled together, smothered in lemon icing and finished with a drizzle of lemon curd. And when we say big… that one on the plate is literally about the size of my outstretched hand.

They’re in the cake cabinet TODAY, alongside a ridiculous amount of other cakes and bakes — including quite a few new additions we’ve been working on.

So keep an eye on our page this weekend because there’s plenty more coming…

Well… that escalated quickly! 🤣

Yesterday you kept us so busy that we completely sold out of scones… something that hasn’t happened for a very long time!

So this morning we weren’t taking any chances.

92 freshly baked scones are ready and waiting! Plain, fruit or cheese!

Whether you’re joining us for a cream tea, a savoury scone or just popping in for your favourite, we’ve got you covered today.

(Although after yesterday… I probably shouldn’t tempt fate!)

Last week we celebrated 18 years of Tea on the Green… and what a week it was!

Our Loaded Scone Week was a huge success despite the heat, and we honestly can’t thank you enough. So many of you came along to celebrate with us, tried our creations, shared photos, commented on our posts and made the whole week one we’ll never forget.

We’ve had so many people asking if the loaded scones will be back…

Well… we think they probably will! 😉

What a National Cream Tea Day!

We had every intention of posting earlier today… but you had other ideas!

The tea room was busy from the moment we opened, and we’re so grateful to everyone who chose to celebrate National Cream Tea Day with us.
