After 5 eventful years, yesterday we hung up our pinnys for the last time.

We would like to thank everybody who has come through the door and supported us over the years, many of you have become friends and we will miss our daily conversations with you.

Especially want to thank the staff whom we couldn’t have done it without, you’ve all been exceptional, we certainly have had some laughs (and tears) and made some memories for life 🤣.

For now we are going to catch our breath and enjoy some fresh air before we decide what to do next.

We would like to wish local lad Stephen Swales and his team all the very best on taking over, please come and support him, he has lots of new ideas and is going to be brilliant. Your dad would love this Ste, he d be so proud 💙

🍽 UPDATE 🍽

Unfortunately after considering all the latest news and how the tier 2 regulations affect businesses, we have sadly decided to remain closed when this current lockdown ends.

We will re-assess this situation weekly or when any brighter news is released.

We hope to be back serving you all shortly.

Today’s special is Fresh homemade Quiche full of mature cheese and onion served with homemade slaw and chips.

After a few weeks of ‘testing the water’ we are delighted to say we will be open on Saturday 4th July for takeaway only, this is a trial for a couple of weeks to see how it goes before we have indoor seating ready again. We will regularly review this fast changing picture.

We are operating under local authority guidelines and like other businesses we have had to make some changes to keep yourselves and our staff safe whilst the Coronavirus is still around.

We have a one way system in place, hand sanitising stations and a protective screen at the counter. Our menu is smaller than usual but we have plenty of homemade treats in store for you, pictures and more details to follow.

Please bear with us in these testing times as we are all having to adapt to the ‘new normal’.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

To all our customers, following the government guidelines we have no alternative other than to temporarily close.

We would like to thank you all over the recent days and weeks for your custom and good spirit. It is a very difficult time for everybody and we hope we can all get through this and resume normal services sooner rather than later.
