It's going to be a SPOOKTACULAR half term!!

Treat the kids at The Gingerbread Tea House with a half priced kids meal or a half priced pancake stack when you order a full priced adults meal.

One half priced kids meal or pancake stack per adult meal purchased.

Offer until 31st October 2026.

Kids also get to choose a lucky dip sweet treat in the cafe.

We're having a face lift!

Don't worry! There are no plastic surgeons, just lovely Colin with his paint brush!!!

If you walk past the cafe today and see him working away, please let him carry on as he needs to get the whole place finished by tea time so i can get everything ready to serve our delicious food and drinks tomorrow morning!!

(I did offer to help, but he prefers to work alone 🤣)

New benches spotted on Albert Road 👀!

The pedestrianisation of Albert Road is almost completed!

Work started back in April, recently there were delays whilst the team waiting for manweb to complete some works.

The road looks great 👍!

Why not pop down to try out the new benches?

But please remember, we're closed on Tuesdays!

I understand that some people have strong feelings about the town and although I do understand those, I respectfully ask you not to debate these issues on my business page.

It is difficult enough as a small business owner. If you would like to see more thriving businesses in the town, the best thing you can do is shop locally rather than online and support small, local businesses instead of the corporate giants.

I absolutely love this menu item!

Freshly grilled chicken with tasty pesto. Served on a bed of spinach with mozzarella and sliced tomato.
