I would just like to point out that this is the business page for The Gingerbread Tea House. I am not linked to the council and have had no involvement in financial decisions regarding the regeneration of Widnes town centre.
If you are unhappy with the regeneration, this is not the place to voice those concerns.

Use of foul language on my business page will lead to your comment being removed and you being blocked from the page.

As a small business we have been heavily impacted by the ongoing works.

I have tried over previous months to keep people informed in a positive and respectful way.

A little reimagining of Albert Road once the works are completed.

There are 3 empty units next to The Gingerbread Tea House. The owners are currently working on these to get them ready to be let.

There are also 2 empty units in the old Nyland and Beaty unit.

Now is the time to be looking to move to this secion of town! It's going to be amazing when it's finished so if you're looking for business premisies, this is the place to be!

📢 An Update from The Gingerbread Tea House

​We are currently closed until Thursday due to a family funeral. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

​A few people have asked recently if we are permanently closing. The answer is a resounding no!

The Gingerbread Tea House has been a proud part of the community since 2017. While the current roadworks have caused some disruption, we are still going strong and plan to stick around for years to come!

​As some of you know, we were also closed from June 8th–10th due to a family bereavement. It has been a very difficult time, so please forgive me if I haven't quite been my usual self lately.

​We will be open again on Thursday, July 2nd, serving all of our usual delicious food and drinks.
