The sheer joy of being out on your bike on a beautiful summer evening cannot be underestimated.
The Swan Inn is lucky to be in a beautiful village location, but also surrounded by some really good roads for bike riding.
We would love to see you this Thursday for our regular Bike Night, with a large car park to the rear of the pub it is the perfect place to show off your pride and joy to other bike enthusiasts.

Well done England, you have made our Nation proud already. Let's see if we can make it to the Final!
We would love to see you on Wednesday evening so we can cheer our team on together. If we all shout loud enough, they may just hear us!
The match will be shown live on the Big Screen, and the bar will be well-stocked with plenty of drinks to keep us all hydrated.

From our vantage point across the road, we really enjoy watching people coming and going to the Library. It's especially lovely to see the children leaving, proudly holding whatever they have made, and their pile of books to read.
If you are visiting the Library this morning, we open as the Library ends, so why not pop over for a cool drink or lunch in our beautiful flower-filled garden? We open at 12pm and food is served until 2pm.

The beautiful summer weather is continuing for the foreseeable future.
Sunday roast is tradition for many, but who wants to turn the oven on and add to the incredible heat we are currently experiencing? We can take that pain away for you. Come join us in our cool restaurant, or relax in our beautiful garden and let us serve you lunch.
This Sunday we are also offering as Specials - roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Or a roast beef salad and baby potatoes.
Ice cream for dessert? Of course! But there are also lots of other options too.

Wow! What a fantastic evening we had last night!
We would like to say a massive thank you to Wi******er Morris Men and also to their guests Basing Clog Morris for providing such fun. They really are incredible to watch, and seem like they always have a lot of fun whilst entertaining the crowd.
Thank you too to everyone who came down to enjoy the evening. The garden looked amazing, full of people socialising, chatting and enjoying the morris dancing.
We always really look forward to the annual visit of Wi******er Morris Men, and think last night was one of the best yet. Apparently, we are one of their favourite places to visit as they always get a very warm welcome. We also love being their last stop for the evening as once they have finished dancing they join us in the bar and continue the entertainment with lots of joyful singing of folk songs and shanties.
Thank you once again to everyone who helped to make the evening one to remember. Barton Stacey at its very best!

Warm summer evenings are the perfect time to wander down to your local pub, enjoy a cold drink and listen to some very talented people entertain you for free.
Our Open Mic nights are always popular, so whether you want to take part, or just sit back and enjoy, we would love you to join us this Thursday from 8pm.
The kitchen is open from 6pm to 8pm for a wide selection of delicious meals, so you could come down early and make an evening of it. After all, Thursday is almost the weekend!
