Oh hi there yep it’s us again and after a busy week just gone we got another coming up. A few private gigs here and there but here are the ones y’all can come to

On Tuesday we’re heading to Burridge to the cricket club for some lovely leather on willow action and also raising money for UKROPS supporting medical colleagues in Ukraine. Also supports the cricket club and all are welcome! From 5:30 as far as I know - cricket at 6. Smashing

On Wednesday it’s Wednesday so that means we’re BACK at sensational pop and ice cube in yer Rosé and call it a hump day

Thursday private gig so you have to be invited to that one

On Friday we’re down Wi******er Rugby club for Big Sleep Out. Raising funds for the homeless it’s a big night of sleeping under the stars are you taking part this year?

Saturday private gig as well so I don’t need to say that but if you’re invited you’re gonna have a nice burger

So yep that’s a week that will be. See ya there!

Hello you it’s this week’s dates so let’s take a look shall we

Okay okay Tuesday we’re up on the South Downs at lovely . 5-8pm it’s the big pub with the big well, the big dog and the big views. If you haven’t checked it out you definitely should cos it’s a cracker

On Wednesday it’s the usual we keep being cursed with s**t weather which is really getting on my t**s. The week we had decent weather I was off because half term and that’s annoying me now as not only is it bad for your moods when it’s bad for business too it really twists the salt into the metaphors so I’m hoping you can get past that and make Wednesday a nice day by The Test

Then on Friday it’s fabulous . It’s only been a month but it feels longer somehow so I’m looking forward to that one

Sunday we are back at dummer in fact but I think that’s a ticketed gig and I think maybe sold out anyway so we’ll leave that one there

So… yep. That’s this week’s dates. I hope the weather’s bot too s**t and you tell a friend to come for a burger we would really appreciate that

Going early on this weeks dates because I had an hour to update the website and that so here they are

Yes it’s quite Test Valley what with the Wednesday as usual 4-8pm under the canvas and by the fire pit by the river

And then on Friday we need you to tell the whole of Broughton that we’re coming to Broughton!

We have a strong soft spot for this village what with it being an early lockdown spot for us back in the day and we’ve been asked to come up to the sports field to cater some kids cricket.

Kids, cricket and catering are all Very Excellent Things and well worth supporting. Apparently the bar will be open and proceeds go to supporting ye local cricketing activities so that’s great.

All are welcome!

I feel like that’s a bit shy on detail but hopefully not.

Anyway sounds lovely and that’s where we are this week

A few have asked about Greyhound but there’s no Greyhound this week (and private gigs at the weekend)

Hello hi it’s The Dates and it’s easy this week are you ready?

Yep Wednesday it’s like all (most) summer Wednesday’s as we’re back in salubrious Stockbridge at none other than under the big tent by The Test. 4pm - 8pm and all are welcome!

Then on Thursday we’re heading North West to smashing it’s the one where you put Haydown Farm in your nav and it’s up the farm track just outta East Cholderton. I think that’s also from 4pm but it could be 5 eitherway it’s great

Not sure what else to say really. Two great places with great bars, lovely folks and a decent chance of not-s**t-weather. Add some burgers and that’s a top night out no?

Oi Oi what’s that? Well it’s this week’s dates on a Monday for one! Now my day has already grown legs so let’s get straight to it

Wednesday 13th: yes it’s the one you’ve been waiting for it’s the OFFICIAL start to the summer with the return of !

This year we’ll be there *most* Wednesday back in the carpark of dreams it’s the best by The Test

From 4ish -8pm all summer long. Wednesdays NOT Thursdays like in years gone by. Say something about hump day or whatever. Very excited for this one. Is that clear? Any questions? See ya there

THURSDAY 14th: we’re back at lovely ! Tell a WALLOP friend! Slightly clunky scheduling geographically cos we’re not that far away the night before but maybe come for burgers at both pubs and see what’s what no? 5pm onwards we have really enjoyed so please do keep it up and tell the villagers yeah?!

THEN SATURDAY 16th: we’re in FABULOUS Crawley village but slightly different to the usual because we’re up at the cricket club.

Now we have a dutiful responsibility to protect The Greatest Game…. In The World which is of course Village Cricket and the way you can protect things by coming along and getting a drink a the pavilion and a burger at the food truck.

Village Cricket needs you. Needs us all. Tell a friend and get on down

What up homes’s’s? Well yep another week thunders into view like a Class 37 on medium thrash and this week it’s happily hauling one shiney trailer in two rock solid burger stations

Where are they? Well…. Easy. First up on Friday it’s fandabidozey . I really want this one to be a biggie as we’re due a good slamming and what better place for it. Weather’s set for fair, loads of inside and outside space, fun for all the family old and young, eat in it takeout it’s all up for grabs. Scheduled 1700h but we might be early if we’re lucky and no leaves on the line. Smashing

Then on Saturday we depart for brilliant and with a twist. Yes it’s their spring festival shindig and seems like there’s a German kinda twist to it because who needs Oktober when you can have MayFest. With that in mind we got proper Bratwurst already winged their way over from Bavaria but when they’re gone they’re gone and we got burgers as usual too never fear. From 1600h till 8 ish afaik but I better check that actually. So yeah tell a friend and get yr dirndl’s out why not

And umm yeh that’s weak!

I’d really like to be very busy (I will regret saying this haha) so tell a friend and get one or both in yr diary.

Well looks what we have here it’s this week and yes yes I know it’s a bit late but when isn’t it and hey you still got time to make plans for:

Thursday we’re back at jolly ol’ aren’t we! Tell a Walloping friend won’t you? It’s the good fun pub with the food trucks outside and it’s right in your village or near to your village so deffo get the gang together and get on down! 5-8pm or so and the bar’s open later too!

Then on Saturday a new location for us as we head eastbound to Four Marks. The taproom off of the brewery by The Watercress line - we haven’t got out that way that much of late so I don’t know if any of you are reading this anyway and even if you are are you anywhere near there?

I guess the Bishops Sutton crew and Bighton gang aren’t too far so if you are or you know any of them do tell and we’ll see you Saturday! There’s a beer festival and we’re there all day - should be a lively one!

Struggling for other things to say because I’m old, lame and useless but that’s most of the headlines please do come down would be great to see ya

UPDATE:

Got a late call up for a potential second location for TOMORROW (that’s Friday) so we are not only at fabulous Crawley village hall but we’re also gonna be at Barn Farm Community Centre to boot!

Now I’ve never visited so I’m also gonna find out first hand tomorrow when we arrive but here are some thoughts I noted so far:

•It’s a Whiteley town council thing and they are really kind and fun on the phone!
•they put on food trucks for fun and vibes and have a great selection so they obvs geddit, geddit?
•Collossaly we’ll be ‘longside the fabulous 💯 💯 💯 tomorrow so I can get a slice of pie and that will be great it’s been at least a Wi******er fireworks since I last had one
•literally not many of you are in Whiteley no? Hahahhaa

I mean I am writing this but it’s an area we haven’t ever slinged much patty at before so I’m writing this thinking ‘maybe no one reading this is anywhere near anyway’ but then that would assume anyone’s reading this AT ALL haha

But we know we have some friends in the South Downs and round some meon valley crew dem so maybe you can make it or maybe have a friend you can tell who is near Barn Farm Community Centre Whiteley right?

So yep tell yourself or tell a friend!

Okay okay it’s a bit late but had some cogitation, rumination and deliberation to do this week which has kept me from getting to the phone to sa it’s Crawley Village Hall this Friday!

Weather looks stellar don’t forget to look to the heavens tonight for the shooting star show and remember that Crawley village hall is the one just up from The Fox pub with the lovely walled garden, great games room, very reasonably priced community bar and a lovely crowd to boot!

We’re there as ever from 5pm till 8 or so - bar’s open later - and it’s great for the family or not if you so choose that bit is up to you

Get on down and see ya there!
