At the back of The Blue Boar sits our function space, The Bosworth Suite, can accommodate 50 guests for a sit-down meal or 75 standing guests. The ideal setting for events and gatherings of all kinds, whether you’re arranging a crucial boardroom meeting, looking for a space for your next birthday celebration, planning the office Christmas party or organising your wedding celebration. Big things are happening at The Blue Boar, and we can’t wait to share them with you!

From this Sunday, The Blue Boar will temporarily close its doors as we begin an exciting refurbishment of our bar, restaurant, kitchen and function room. Our hotel rooms have already started their transformation, and now the rest of the venue will be joining them.

We’ll be closed until 9th September, and while we’ll miss seeing all of our wonderful customers over the coming weeks, we’re so excited to welcome you back to a refreshed Blue Boar.

Thank you for your continued support, loyalty and all the memories you’ve helped create. We look forward to making many more with you when we reopen in September 💙🐗

🎄 Stall Holder Applications Are Now Open! 🎄

We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for our Christmas Market, taking place on Sunday 6th December at The Blue Boar, Witney, across our Bosworth Suite and garden.

We’re looking for a fantastic mix of local businesses selling:
✨ Handmade crafts
🎁 Unique gifts
🎅 Festive decorations
🍪 Seasonal treats and products
…and more!

Applications are open from now until Monday 7th September. We’ll review all applications and confirm successful stall holders by Monday 14th September, ensuring we have a varied selection of stalls for visitors to enjoy.
