We're sorry to share that the Hare & Hounds is temporarily closed while a key member of our management team is dealing with a personal health matter.

This has been a sudden situation, and we're sorry we weren't able to let you know sooner. We're aware this may have affected guests with bookings, and we apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment this will have caused.

We won't be sharing further details out of respect for our team’s privacy, but we'd ask everyone to be kind and patient, and we will update you on reopening plans as soon as we can.

We will be open for the England vs Norway game. This will be a bookings and invite only event. If you have a booking, a member of the team will reach out to you tonight

After the football, the business will close for 2 weeks reopening on the 24th July 2026

The heat has caused an issue with our systems which needs attention. Whilst this is happening, we aim to get some refurbishment work done to the site too

If we are ahead of schedule, we will look to do some friends/family events or soft openings so please keep an eye on our social media channels

Apologies for the inconvenience caused but from the 24th July we will be back to normal and ready for the summer ahead

We are still awaiting the engineer so as a precaution we are continuing to stay closed until they arrive.
We have received messages about opening tomorrow and we’re doing our best to ensure this happens. As soon as we know more, we’ll let you know

With respect to the neighbours, we've decided we won't be open for the England vs Mexico game on Sunday night/Monday morning.
We will be open till our usual 10.30pm closing time then business as usual for the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, 3rd Place and Final.
