Good morning Wokingham

We are up nice and early to get the bar ready for tonight's big match.

That's right, get your voices ready to cheer on and celebrate goals (hopefully!) for our Three Lions as they hope to join Spain in Sunday's World Cup Final. Can they overcome Messi and his Argentine side? Let's hope so!

Get down here early as when we are full, we are full and the doors will be closed. We don't want to disappoint anyone, so come along and perhaps get some dinner from Elton at Miimiz?

Let's all get together and help England roar to victory down at your community pub on Denmark Street!

Good evening Wokingham

We may be closed today but we are back from 3pm tomorrow to enjoy more drinks in the sunshine on Denmark Street!

We've had queries already but on Wednesday for England's Semi Final match against rivals Argentina we are running a first come, first served entry policy, so once we are full, the door will be closed. So get here early to avoid disappointment.

We won't be accepting under 18s for the match after 9pm due to licensing rules. The Beer Garden will be closed from 9.45pm. And should it go to Extra Time and/or Penalties as soon as the Final whistle goes, we will be asking you all to drink up.

Let's hope it's celebrations all round, but either way please respect our neighbours as you go home.

On Friday we have Simon hosting Open Mic at a slightly earlier part of the month so do send a message if you'd like to book a slot. That starts at 8pm and under 18s can take part earlier.

On Saturday, we will be showing the battle for third place in the World Cup (hopefully that will be Argentina!) and Sunday it's the final.

Good morning Wokingham

What a fantastic day and night we had down at The Dukes! If you joined us then we loved having you with us for Pride, the after party or that amazing football match.

A huge thank you to the gang behind Wokinghampride who pulled off yet another fantastic festival, despite blistering heat. We loved celebrating with you all and we are already looking forward to next year.

Remember our monthly LGBTQ+ and Allies meet up is the last Sunday of every month from 2-4pm

A huge thanks to Snapshot who set the party off with epic tunes and a costume change for the ages! We are already looking at another date so if you missed them look out for that

And after last night's match (has anyone got any nails left?) we will be showing the slightly more scary match on Wednesday against Argentina from 8pm.

On to today which will feel a little more quiet after yesterday, we will be opening at the slightly later time of 4pm with Wimbledon action.

Good afternoon Wokingham

It's finally here, both Wokinghampride which is in full swing over at Elms Field and later England V Norway in the World Cup!

We have a bumper day for you at The Dukes, starting with Nations Championship Rugby in the main bar and Wimbledon coverage including the ladies final in the back bar.

Later on we are celebrating and congratulating the team from Wokingham Pride as we kick off our After Party from 6pm- and remember it's any three shots for £10 until 10pm!

At 8pm, we crank up the sounds for live music from Snapshot

And at 10pm we get ready to cheer on Kane and Co in the football.

We aren't taking bookings but it is first come first served so get here early to avoid disappointment. We also remind you all that unfortunately we can't host under 18s tonight from 9pm.

Get on down to The Dukes for sport, music and fun on Denmark Street!

Good morning Wokingham

We are opening at 3pm this afternoon due to the heat and will get all the fans on ready for you to relax with your fave tipple.

Looking ahead we have Art Club with Wokingham Life-Drawing Society tonight from 7pm- all welcome!

On Saturday it's a busy one as we are looking forward to Wokinghampride which takes place on Elms Field after the parade at 11.30am at the Marketplace. You can grab take away drinks and food from us.

At 6pm the action moves to ours for the after-party and at 8pm we have live music from Snapshot.

And then at 10pm it's more World Cup action as England take on Norway for a place in the semi finals- can the three lions roar on? Let's hope so!

Then Sunday we open at the slightly later time of 4pm.
