On Saturday 11th July, we will be hosting our third Pant-yr-Ochain Charity Dog Show, in support of Grinshill Animal Rescue. It will be a fun day for all the family, with your canine companions being the stars of the show.

Classes

1. Most handsome dog
2. Prettiest bitch
3. Best Youngster (under 2 years)
4. Golden Oldie (over 8 years)
5. Best Rehomed
6. Best young handler (handler under 7 years)
7. Best handler (handler 8-14 years)
8. Dog the judge would most like to take home
9. Waggiest tail
10. Dog most like its owner
11. Best trick
12. Best brace

The winner from each class will automatically be entered into the 'Best In Show' class, to compete for the title of overall 'Show Champion'.

All classes are £4 to enter, and rosettes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Registration opens from 11am and classes begin at 12 noon, as this is a charity event, please bring cash along on the day.

Teas, coffees, bacon baps and hot dogs will be available from 11am.

If you plan on staying for lunch, please lets us know so we can book you on a dog friendly area.

We are relying on the sun shining, so if the weather isn't on our side, we may have to postpone the event to a later date, so please keep an eye on social media for updates.

🐾 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this morning's fun pub walk! 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️
Thanks to your support and generosity, we raised £84.00 for North Clwyd Animal Rescue. Every pound will help support the animals in their care and make a real difference.
It was wonderful to spend the morning walking, chatting, and enjoying time together for such a worthwhile cause.
Thank you all for helping make it such a successful and enjoyable event! ❤️🐶🐱

The weather is looking ☀️ for our charity walk on Saturday 13th June.

Meet at the pub for a quick cuppa and pastry (on us) before we stretch our legs around 9.30am.

The walk will take around 1.5 - 2 hours, it's relatively flat with well trodden paths and will return to the pub in time to refuel with lunch (let us know if you need to book a table) or a well earned pint 🍻.

Four legged friends are welcome too, just please keep them on a lead. We will be collecting donations for North Clwyd Animal Rescue, all contributions will be hugely appreciated.
