**TODAY** - Relive the drama of as we bring you fresh streetfood again from ...... live music as 'The Glass Collectors' fill your ears with sweet sounds from 7-9 and then as last weekend ended join us to roar England on to Victory v Norway with kick off at 10pm......and if it's art your after the RARE art exhibition is with us all the way through to the 16/8!

**TODAY** - This time last week i couldn't think of anything worse than eating Mexican food as the supposed dreaded Azteca awaited.....but England got the job done and we can once again rejoice in the sweet taste of tacos!......but don't be sweating in your kitchen let take your tastebuds on a world tour whilst we cool you down with a ice cold beer! ........thankfully this weekend we are all things anti Norway ahead of us showing the big game tomorrow at 10pm so won't be cracking open a tin of Raksfik now or anytime soon.....it's first come first served on seats for tomorrow but with 'The Glass Collectors' singing songs from 7-9 grab a seat early and settle your nerves! For today we are open until 11:30 tonight!

**ACOMBFEST** - well the dust has settled and finally I've got out from the bar to see the amazing artwork for myself including this amazing piece by .......and I think the whole of Acomb is feeling pretty smug with it's recent glow up......we wanted to take this opportunity to thank some people:

Thanks to the Art Of Protest team for organising this event and bringing all the local businesses together as well as the world class artists as well as putting plenty of money behind the bar this weekend!

Thanks to RARE who organised the art exhibition that is on going until 16th August bringing some of the UK's best artists to our wall. spAm and are the brains behind the operation!

Extended thanks to aka Lofty for spinning tunes Friday and Saturday alongside a host of great guests.

Thanks to Alice from for her Saturday morning workshop.

We are a big fan of local musicians and enjoyed all of the live music Saturday including Charlie Swainston Amy & Rob Craig Long and of course what a night Saturday was with Melting Pot full house....any videos of the music please tag us in so we can share!

Thank you to Acomb artists our local talented artists who hosted Sunday morning pebble painting where we were all blown away by the amount of people that turned up for this!

**TONIGHT** - With the fresh lick of paint around Acomb our BTND. went for an additional run this week.......and on the back of Acomb's glow up you could start your own too by joining them tonight from 6:45 for a choice of 5 or 7.5k!

**THIS WEEK** - Anybody else sounding a little Harry Kane? Heartfelt thank you's for the most amazing weekend incoming but for now here's what's coming this week....fresh from a 5k around our BTND. run crew are back stomping the streets of Acomb Tuesday from 6:45with a 5 or 7.5k route.....Friday and Saturday it's the all star menu of filling your tea time dreams.....and then Saturday night from the earlier time of 7pm 'The Glass Collectors' fill the airwaves before we all meet once again to protect these shores from the Vikings as the head of big Dan Burn looks to sink the Norwegian long ship from 10pm on Saturday night as England face Norway!

**TODAY** - Dust yourselves down Acomb as we've got 18 hours of fun ahead......kicking off at 10:30 with Acomb artists as they host a pebble monster challenge......everything's provided as little ones turn plain pebbles into their own frighteningly good pebble monster.......at 11:30 our BTND. run crew take in all of the murals and other green spaces with a 5k run around Acomb and all are free to join......it's £4 cask beer all day which is the perfect way to wash down a YUZU Street Food spice bag......then from 4pm.......we start winding down with and friends back on the decks.....and as we raise a glass to all those making this weekend such a huge success (thanks to Art Of Protest ) we hope England raise there game as we stay open for England v Mexico into the early hours!

**ACOMBFEST SATURDAY** - we are the soundtrack to Saturday in Acomb a bumper line up of music from 12!...... Charlie Swainston kicks things off from 12-1:30 with his chilled out hits...... 2-3:30 Amy & Rob join us for the first ever time..... 4-5:30 Craig Long returns...... 6-7:30 tells you about her 99 red balloons amongst other stuff before all 5 of the Melting Pot get you bouncing with indie and dance bangers! ....... YUZU Street Food bring you a delightful Asian feast to fill your belly and as ever we wash it all down until 11:30pm!

**TODAY** - is finally here! For today RARE take over the walls with their artwork including this amazing piece by Al Murphy all raising money for the incredible SASH (Safe And Sound Homes) ...... and friends take over the sound waves spinning hot vinyls into your ears...... Philly’s Wood Fired Pizza York spins the dough as they deliver their Neapolitan style pizzas and cooling it all down is us with ice cold beers until 11:30pm!
