The heat is returning, but our beer garden offers a nice, fresh spot for a drink. Just make sure you are drinking plenty of water as well.

From this week, we are starting to help the Venezuelan community in York with their collection of materials to help Venezuela after the double-earthquake that has become one of their biggest tragedies in history. Please help.

- Tuesday (7 Jul): Our very popular Pub Quiz is back with Ben and his Kazoo. Get your team together and arrive early if you want a table. Starts at 8.30 pm.
- Friday (10 Jul): La Bola Dorada Latin Night is on. Come down to dance, meet new people, and enjoy music from across Latin America. We will also be collecting donations for Venezuela, with sanitary products and medical supplies especially welcome. Music starts at 7.30 pm.
- Sunday (12 Jul): As every Sunday, our Garden Room welcomes the Folk Americana Session. From 8 pm.

We are entering the summer, and the beer garden mood is already in full swing. Meanwhile, we also have good music and entertainment to suit every taste this week.

- Monday (29 June): Get your talents ready, as Tom Beer starts the week at the GB with his eclectic and full of talent Open Mic. Get down early to get a place on the list. 8 pm start.

- Tuesday (30 June): Time to challenge your knowledge, with our traditional and competitive Pub Quiz. Ben and his accordion will provide a fun evening for your team. 8.30 start, but early arrival is recommended.

- Wednesday (1 July): Records you said? Come and show us what you have. Bob & Vic Big Vinyl Night is back. Choose 4 tracks, play them, and meet other music lovers. Like other events, it gets busy, so come down early to ensure your turn at the decks. 8 pm start.

- Thursday (2 July): Blues is back at the GB. With Pete on the guitar and the amazing Bad Saloon filling the room with amazing riffs. From 8.30 pm.

- Saturday (4 July): Sophisticated Boom Boom is back in our main room, come for a dance, or just to listen to Sam & Jack’s handpicked music selection! From 8 pm.

- Sunday (5 July): The date has arrived, and we are very excited for it… Baby Band is taking over our Garden Room! It is going to be lovely, pay-as-you-feel, but booking is essential. 2.30 pm start. Please arrive 30 minutes before to take your place in the room.

- Sunday (5 July): We are again, at the end of the week, and we need the soothing sounds of the amazing Folk Americana Session, from 8 pm.
