Arras will be closing for a Christmas and New Year break as per normal.
We’ll be closing on Saturday 19th December and we’ll reopen in 2021 (Hopefully!) for dinner on Wednesday January 13th.
In the meantime, take care of yourselves and have a great Christmas and hopefully better 2021!

We’re back open! Yes, it’s great to be able to welcome you all back. However in our first week we’ve had a few no-shows. Now that’s not cool at any time, let alone during a global pandemic where hospitality is on its knees.
So if you have a booking with us (or anyone else for that matter) please honour it. And if you can’t make it, contact us to cancel in plenty of time.

Arras is back open tonight! We look forward to welcoming you with all the new measures in place.
We’ll still try and keep what Arras is known for in place, but you may notice a few changes, which ultimately are for ours and your safety and well-being.
Moving forward, as we have reduced numbers to be able to cater to, for all reservations please email us [email protected] so we can best accommodate you.
In the meantime, come and see us and eat this lovely Mushroom Sang Choi Bao with Arras Spiced Tofu, making its debut tonight.

We can now confirm that the restaurant will be reopening from Wednesday 26th August.
We will be operating on a booking only policy. To book your table please contact us on [email protected]
Please be aware that at present we will be accepting bookings of up to 4 guests, however, we will update our policy as the guidelines evolve over the next few weeks.
Thank you for the support many of you have given ourselves and Little Arras during this time and we look forward to welcoming you back.

Tonight we took the difficult, but necessary decision to close Arras with immediate effect. With the situation showing no sign of abating and to ensure the welfare of our customers and staff we decided to call it a day.
We will come out of this on the other side, and continue to serve York as best we can. Your support as ever has been unswerving and for that we are truly grateful.
In the meantime we are all relocating to to bake bread and other stuff for takeaway and delivery from next week.

In light of recent unprecedented events, we have decided to stay open and honour any forward bookings. We will do this until told otherwise by Government. We remain vigilant in our cleanliness and hygiene throughout Arras as we obviously look to protect our staff and customers alike.
