This Eid, SpiceHub was honored to partner with Best of Gastronomy, Jollof Care Center, and The Gambia Prison Department to prepare and serve meals for inmates at Mile 2 Central Prison.

Beyond the cooking, this initiative represented compassion, unity, and the spirit of giving during a special time of celebration. Seeing chefs, partners, inmates, and prison officers work hand in hand in the kitchen was truly inspiring and a reflection of what community partnership can achieve.

Special appreciation goes to The Gambia Prison Department and Jollof Care Center for the remarkable transformation of the kitchen through the introduction of modern cooking equipment and improved facilities. Compared to the previous cooking event, this upgrade marks a significant step forward in creating a more organized, efficient, and dignified cooking environment.

We are proud to be part of an initiative that uses food, collaboration, and community service to make a meaningful impact and support positive change.
