On Saturday, July 11th, Arodo Loft Bar and Major Axis Productions present The Greek Songbook, an intimate acoustic project by Telemachos Athanasiadis.

Bouzouki, guitar and voice come together for an evening of Greek favourites — from timeless melodies to more contemporary sounds.

A warm summer night on the balcony of Arodo, with the sea in front of us and Greek music setting the mood.

Last night at Arodo Stargazing.

We tested the 17mm Hyperion eyepiece by Baader Planetarium under real conditions: people on the balcony, drinks on the tables, red ambient light, and the Moon through the telescope.

This is exactly the kind of night we love at Arodo.
Not a formal lecture. Not a staged event. Just a balcony, a telescope, curious guests, and a shared look at the Moon.

The lunar close-up was captured through the eyepiece with a smartphone — simple, imperfect, but real.

We continue tonight with Moon observation from the balcony.
Tonight the Moon rises just before 22:00 and should become visible from our spot around 22:20–22:30. Tomorrow, the observation starts later, as the Moon rises around 22:30.

Join us for a drink and a look through the telescope.
The Moon is always better when shared.

Χτες το βράδυ στο Arodo Stargazing.

Δοκιμάσαμε το 17mm Hyperion προσοφθάλμιο της Baader Planetarium σε πραγματικές συνθήκες: κόσμος στο μπαλκόνι, ποτά στα τραπέζια, κόκκινος ατμοσφαιρικός φωτισμός και η Σελήνη μέσα από το τηλεσκόπιο.

Αυτό ακριβώς είναι το είδος βραδιάς που αγαπάμε στο Arodo.
Όχι επίσημη διάλεξη. Όχι στημένο event. Ένα μπαλκόνι, ένα τηλεσκόπιο, περίεργοι επισκέπτες και μια κοινή ματιά στη Σελήνη.

Η κοντινή φωτογραφία της Σελήνης τραβήχτηκε μέσα από το προσοφθάλμιο με smartphone — απλά, όχι τέλεια, αλλά αληθινά.

Συνεχίζουμε και απόψε με παρατήρηση Σελήνης από το μπαλκόνι.
Απόψε η Σελήνη ανατέλλει λίγο πριν τις 22:00 και από το σημείο μας θα φαίνεται περίπου 22:20–22:30. Αύριο η παρατήρηση πάει πιο αργά, αφού η Σελήνη ανατέλλει γύρω στις 22:30.

Ελάτε για ένα ποτό και μια ματιά μέσα από το τηλεσκόπιο.
Η Σελήνη είναι πάντα καλύτερη όταν τη μοιράζεσαι.

And in a way, that's how this journey started too.
