Gastra, a most traditional Greek, (Crock pot). Slow cooked meats with a choice of Lamb, Beef, Pork or Chicken (Sauce with orange Juice, lemon Juice, honey and wine) served with potatoes , carrots and onions. Gastra is one of the oldest and most traditional Greek recipes, of which you may not have heard of, but ones you taste and eat, you will always remember, due to tenderness and excellent flavors. It’s a very slow cooked, 5 hour recipe, which explains why you may not find in many Restaurants. It Is therefore important to order it a day in advance in order to always have it fresh upon your arrival.
