Every family restaurant has a story.
Ours began in the 1950s, when family patriarch Nikos Mikelatos left Kefalonia to work as a cook on Norwegian ships. Together with his wife, Reggina, they travelled the world before returning home and creating the restaurant that would become a family tradition.
Inspired by the years he spent working in Norway, he named it Scandinavia.
Today, known as Mikelatos Restaurant, the journey continues through the second and third generation, preserving the same values, hospitality and passion that
inspired its beginnings.
To everyone who has shared a meal, a celebration or a memory with us over the years, thank you for becoming part of our family’s story.
