As one of the many ‘things’ in the universe, the time for ChocoDuck to complete its restaurant mission is near. On 23 November, 2022, the 10th anniversary, the bistro will be closed permanently. My new identity will be a culinary consultant for private events.
I can give you trillions of reasons why this decision is made, however, it is undoubtedly more important to let you know how much I appreciate your love and support throughout the years.
ChocoDuck Bistro witnessed many celebrations such as birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, wedding proposals, friendships, special dates, and health recoveries…And one rare case of a divorce celebration though.
I first and foremost thank my comrade in the kitchen, my dear Jane. Without Jane, there will be no baked fresh star snapper, no pizza, no dessert, no clean utensils, no laughs and no morale support in ChocoDuck bistro. And then I have to thank my dear investor cm accomplice, my beloved husband, my dear Dominic, who supported my totally insane idea to open an Italian restaurant serving handmade fresh pasta on the 99% Hong Kong Chinese populated island of Cheung Chau.
Last, but not least, my shifu and my mentor, Mr Marco Maggio. His guidance in my culinary career is priceless. I simply have no words to express my gratitude.
Sooooooo……… all things must pass, but here comes the sun! Thank you very much again and I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart.
