The ascent continues! Our own Chef Roberta De Sario been crowned #63 Best Pizza Chef in the World by the in Milano. Jumping all the way from #85 last year, it is a beautifully well deserved honour and milestone for our Napoli born-and-raised pizza queen in a career built on craft, dedication and her deep, lifelong love of pizza.

In both Hong Kong and Dubai, Roberta brings the same unmistakable magic to every pie that leaves her ovens at and , and we could not be more proud to see her work recognised ever higher on the world stage.

Congratulations, Chef Roberta. Onwards and upwards. 🍕

For the first time ever, two Black Sheep boats lined up side by side in the Gold Cup Final at the Stanley International Dragon Boat Championships. We finished second and seventh, missing the title by just 0.4 seconds.

It hurts. We came to win.

But what we built over these past six months was always bigger than the result of a single day. It was forged in early mornings, aching bodies, shared sacrifice and the quiet promise to keep showing up for one another. Somewhere along the way, we became a team.

And sometimes, even when you give everything, it still does not go your way.

Loss is a better teacher than victory, and we know that the true measure of a team is not only how it celebrates success, but how it carries disappointment together. We choose to do so with our heads held high, smiles on our faces, and, okay, maybe a little beer in our stomachs.

Bravo to our captains Luca, Jessie and Greta for keeping us rowing in the same direction, and to every paddler, partner, friend and family member who carried us to the line.

We will learn. We will grow. We will be back.

After ten years of , it is time for a renewal.
 
Our Shelley Street home will take a short break from service this summer as Chef Teya returns home to explore her native Lebanon and the team sets out on a research trip of their own, gathering stories, flavours and a little bit of Middle Eastern magic to bring back to our hearth.

Pride is woven into Lebanese culture; pride in home, pride in heritage, pride in the way hospitality is expressed with every table set and every guest welcomed through the door. It lives in the details, in the generosity, in the feeling that when you arrive, you are someone that we are proud to look after.

This next chapter deserves the same care.

We will return this autumn with an even more abundant and beautiful expression of the bold flavours of Lebanon, from the smoke of the grill to the brightness of lemon, herbs and olive oil, with a renewed focus on the stories, spirit and hospitality that have always made our Maison feel like home.
 
In the meantime, you can still find your favourite shawarmas, mezzes and Lebanese comforts on foodpanda through Maison Libanaise Le Comptoir.

自豪感,一直編織在黎巴嫩文化之中;對家的自豪,對傳統的自豪,對款待之道的自豪,都藏在每一張被細心擺好的餐桌、每一位被迎進門的客人之中。它存在於細節、慷慨與溫度裡,也存在於那種感覺:當你來到這裡,你就是我們真心以你為榮、並想好好照顧的人。

這個下一章,值得同樣的用心。

今年秋天,我們將會帶著更豐盛、更美麗的黎巴嫩風味回來。從炭火燒烤的煙燻香氣,到檸檬、香草與橄欖油的明亮清新,我們會以重新凝聚的焦點,呈現那些一直讓 Maison 像家一樣的故事、精神與待客之道。

Sport and community have always been a part of the Black Sheep story, because our values of Playing Big and Our Community First do not stop at the four walls of our restaurants.

And in that same spirit, we are excited to launch Peak Rise, your new monthly morning ritual with our friends from Dreams & Dreams, bringing together .hk, .hk and for a Saturday session of movement, focus, breakfast and connection high above the city.

The morning begins with enough movement to make you feel alive, before slipping into a grounding and meditation reset to clear the noise and put the weekend back in your hands. Then we gather on the terrace at FALCONE for a generous breakfast, fresh air and the best view of Hong Kong anywhere.

This is your excuse to leave the city bustle below, start the day with intention and earn the first meal of the weekend properly.
