"The Azienda Luciano Sandrone is dedicated to producing Nebbiolo of the Barolo and Roero zones to the highest qualitative levels possible. Every bottle of Sandrone wine is made with the same careful attention to artisanal tradition, supported by modern techniques and hand labor.

The three Nebbiolo bottlings are each unique wine making statements that reflect a perfect fusion of the terroir, the vines and the Sandrone winery. They are three distinct expressions of a single vision and purpose, and each is a result of a careful interaction between nature and wine making. None of these is a second wine or inferior to its brothers in any way. Valmaggiore shows incredible perfume, elegance and finesse in a relatively lighter structure so characteristic of the Roero. Barolo Cannubi Boschis is a perfect expression of its vineyards beautiful exposure and soils through its pure, focused fruit and tannins. Barolo Le Vigne pays homage to the historically significant style of assemblaggio wine through its complex and layered structure that unfolds with patience and concentration.

The Sandrone vision is to produce wines that reflect the cultural history and winemaking traditions of the Barolo and Roero, while incorporating the finest and most appropriate modern technology to make balanced, ageworthy wines of purity, elegance and harmony."

On Nov. 11, Lombardy’s special F&B products will be brought in a series of exclusive events and activities taking place in the exquisite Domani restaurant, one the most appreciated dining venues in the city.

The activities will start in the early morning, with a highly technical workshop conducted by ICCHK President to the institutional and business representatives of Lombardy, the workshop will give an overview of Hong Kong and its wine trends and the opportunities for companies that wish to enter it.

The program will continue with an afternoon wine tasting showcasing the best wines of the Lombardy region. Nine winemakers from the Italian region will display and explain their wines to wine operators and wine lovers from Hong Kong.

The day’s activities will end with an exclusive dinner offered to Hong Kong institutions, wine industry representatives and press. The nine companies will pair their wines with special menu created by chef Andrea Spagoni just for this event. This will let guests experience the exquisiteness and uniqueness of the wines. The dishes will mostly be based on white truffle, wines in a 10 course meal.
