Founded in 1999 by winemaker Eben Sadie, The Sadie Family Wines is known for its highly acclaimed single‑vineyard wines from South Africa. These wines are made from old, low‑yielding vines grown in carefully selected regions across the Western Cape. Production is limited, making each bottle highly sought after.

* 'T Voetpad (Swartland): A dry white blend, rooted in Sémillon, medium-bodied.
* Soldaat (Piekenierskloof/Citrusdal Mountain): An elegant, medium-bodied red, 100% Grenache.
* Mev. Kirsten (Stellenbosch): A dry, medium-bodied white, 100% Chenin Blanc.

Wine Maker of the Month: Maison Fang

Since 2019, Chinese winemaker Ming Fang has been making high-quality wines in Burgundy. The vines are part of a thousand-year-old heritage, pampered and with a deep respect for the land. Each bunch of grapes carries the unique character of the terroir—a perfect balance between soil, climate, and craftsmanship.

Today, the domaine produces around 5,000 bottles annually, focusing on elegant and fruity wines in a constant pursuit of excellence.

Japanese squid, marinated in shio koji, is charcoal-grilled until the surface turns delicately caramelised. Rests beside a cold white asparagus velouté, accompanied by fine julienne of white asparagus and citrus kosho.

On the side, crispy asparagus tempura arrives with a homemade citrus Tabasco mayonnaise.
