Some evenings call for a glass. Others call for a brush as well.

Daily from 5pm to 6pm, aperitivo comes with Sip & Paint and a chance to leave your mark on our side wall: a table set for drinks, colour, and a bit of mischief. Milan is a canvas, and this is where you get to play with it, see what others have created before you, and add your own take.

This month's specials bring two new reasons to stay a little longer at the table.

Ricciola Tartare with hamachi, bell peppers, nduja mayonnaise, and basil oil vinaigrette sits light and fresh. Cannelloni Mari e Monti brings prawns, squid, guanciale, asparagus, and Taleggio besciamella — warm, layered, familiar in feeling. Both are made for sharing, made for slow plates, and made for good company.

On May 29th, the steps of Shin Hing Street shift into a different rhythm as we join our neighbor for a quiet, open-air gallery. Hidden installations are placed around street corners to be discovered - including unique mahjong pieces dedicated to our fellow neighbors, alongside our own PRIMO POSTO piece, a small celebration of Shin (Kindness) and Hing (Celebration).

To lean into the artistry of the day, our Aperitivo hour from 5pm to 6pm becomes a space for Sip & Paint, a creative hour where the wine flows and the hands move as freely as the conversation over a chilled bicchiere. Wander the steps, find the hidden tiles, and share a story; for every tag, donates $10 to local animal NGOs to keep the neighborhood heart full.

A moment for discovery, a splash of colour, and a reason to stay a little longer. Ci vediamo sulla scalinata.

為呼應當日的藝術氛圍,我們下午5時至6時的餐前酒時光,將同時化作微醺創作的 Sip & Paint 時段。佳釀流轉,筆觸隨對話自然延展,一切愜意自在。漫步於階梯之間,歡迎尋找隱藏的作品與印記,並分享你的故事。每一次標註 ,均將捐出港幣 $10 予本地非牟利動物組織,讓社區保持溫暖。

Buone notizie from Shin Hing Street! We’re grateful to be part of this year’s Tatler Best Awards, receiving the Tatler Spotlight - the perfect addition to our first anniversary.

The idea behind Primo Posto has always been simple: a table inspired by Milan, where meals are shared and moments are kept easy and familiar. From golden cotoletta to a cheeky sbagliato at aperitivo hour, it’s good to see the heart, energy, and soul our team brings to the neighbourhood recognized.

A well-earned bravi! to Chef Gabriele, Sammi Yim, and the entire Primo family for the energy and warm welcomes they give every day. We’re glad to have so many of you sitting here with us along the way. Salute!

One year on Shin Hing Street, and it’s started to feel a lot like Milano. A place where tables fill quickly, conversations overlap, and no one really keeps track of time.

From the first plate of Mondeghilli Meatballs to the last Negroni pour, it’s always been about the people gathered around the table. The colours, the gestures, the small rituals: each one borrowed from a city that knows how to live well. Thank you for making this past year feel full in all the right ways.

Some dishes deserve a little ceremony. The Zuppetta di Pesce invites you to do just that — a small scoop of potato and leek stew, black cod and mussels, a swipe of toasted sourdough. We call it "fare la scarpetta," the art of using a piece of bread to ensure no sauce is wasted.

Here, it’s the most delicious way to end the bowl, one lingering bite at a time.
