It is with bittersweet and heartfelt feeling to announce that, it is our 13th year anniversary at Waffling Beans ! ❤️🥹
Time certainly flies ! And through all the good and tough times, we hold our core true. That is to hand-made and produce all our liege waffles in-house from scratch. No centralised industrial kitchen. No machines to automate the process.

To celebrate our 13th anniversary, we introduce this limited time menu set consisting a main course and a drink *plus* unlimited fries or unlimited salad. Available on weekdays only. Contact us to book your table now !

[Announcement | Temporary Closure — Taking a Break to Recharge]

Thank you for your support over the past 12 years and for making this place part of your everyday life.
Waffling Beans has always treasured that comforting moment when you walk in: ordering your usual coffee, sitting in your favourite spot, and having a chat about life.

But precisely because we’ve been on this journey for so long, we don’t want “familiar” to turn into “stagnant”. Running the café at a high intensity day after day—serving coffees, restocking, cleaning, and closing up—takes its toll. Over time, it’s not just me who gets tired; our team can also lose their spark in the constant rush. What matters most to us is this: when everyone is simply “getting through today”, it becomes hard to do things with care and detail, and even harder to look after one another properly.

So we’ve decided to press pause and take a break for a while. This time isn’t about leaving—it’s about resetting and improving: making roles and workflows clearer, building a more structured training and handover system, creating more balanced rostering, and aligning our communication and service standards. We want the business to run more smoothly and harmoniously, and for our team to feel a stronger sense of belonging—so we can keep moving forward together.

Waffling Beans plans to return after Lunar New Year 2026, once we’ve recharged and made the necessary adjustments. We hope to come back in a better place, ready to welcome both familiar faces and new friends to sit down and enjoy a coffee with us.

Finally, we’d like to wish everyone a Happy Lunar New Year, and here’s to an even better 2026! 🎉🧧
