Located on the 12/F of Block A, Tai Ning Hall, this collaboration reflects our shared commitment to creating a premium dining experience that blends culinary tradition with modern sophistication.

Under DRC’s expertise, MU Club has been reimagined as a space where exquisite Chinese cuisine meets thoughtful design. The menu, curated by master chefs, features handcrafted dim sum, seasonal specials, and refined dishes that honour the essence of Chinese culinary heritage while embracing innovation.

The newly refurbished venue strikes a perfect balance between elegance and practicality, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere for intimate gatherings, private celebrations, or a leisurely meal with loved ones.

We are thrilled to announce that Drawing Room Concepts (DRC) has partnered with The University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) to manage two exclusive dining venues at the Sassoon Road Campus: The 1887 and Wholesome Hub. This partnership marks another significant milestone in DRC’s journey to define premium clubhouse dining experiences.

Honoring HKUMed’s rich medical legacy since 1887, The 1887 offers an elevated Chinese dining experience with contemporary interpretations of classic Cantonese cuisine. The venue features two distinct sections:

* Alumni Chamber Area: A refined and elegant space for formal dining, exclusively available to HKUMed staff and alumni, designed to celebrate the institution’s storied history.
* Casual Dining Area: A comfortable space dedicated to students, featuring express lunch options and hand-crafted Dim Sum, ensuring quality meals in a relaxed setting.

The 1887 officially opens on 2 October 2025.

Designed to complement the active academic and professional lifestyle of the HKUMed community, Wholesome Hub is a vibrant eatery offering convenient takeaway dining options. The venue is now in soft opening.

以香港西醫書院成立年份命名，以當代美學重新演繹經典粵饌，並劃分為兩大區域：
