Craft Revolution Now Has Beer!
We waited for 9 months and ended up with no liquor license because our local councillor and her coven decided that Square Street should remain a haven for coffin shops and convinced the government authorities that we'd be responsible for disturbing the peace. That was never our intention. We wanted a friendly neighborhood spot where you could relax and sample tasty food, a great selection of local and international craft beers and delicious coffee. What's crazy is that because we don't have a license, we are now able to sell beer at retail prices and don't ever have to close our doors or lower the music because they can't take our license away because we don't have one!
So, we've changed our hours: Tuesday - Saturday - 12:00 to 22:00, Sunday - 11:00 to 21:00, Monday - Closed.
And now you can buy HK Beer Co. beers and we'll soon have beers from other HK breweries as well as growlers of draft when we get our open container permit, which should be any day now.
Okay, so you can't drink the beers inside but we have a nice tree-shaded alley in the back and some great steps beside the place where you can sit and because the beer is for "take-away" it'll be sold at retail, not restaurant prices.
Johnny and Alex have been working on the food menu for months and it has tasty stuff on it including a soon to be famous burger, all of which are available for "take-away".
Come by and check us out. Enjoy a great beer or three. It's good. It's cheap. It's Friday and Craft Revolution is a perfect place to visit on your way to LKF or wherever. Whatcha got to lose?
