The Conference enabled RACVIAC to actively engage in the NATO Education and Training community, further strengthen cooperation with NATO partners, and exchange expertise with subject matter experts in the field of Gender in Military Operations.

Conversations on arms control and disarmament in a changing security environment. That was on the agenda of the Western Balkans workshop organised by the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research and the Austrian Ministry of Defense at Reichenau an der Rax. Our Chief of Office, Rebecca Jovin, joined on the first day alongside speakers from UNIDIR, the OSCE – The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and RACVIAC to reflect on the successes and challenges of global, regional and sub-regional arms control and disarmament efforts and engage with participants on collective actions needed to strengthen the existing toolbox in support of peace and security. Thanks for having us!
