We start production for our project collaboration with the ETH Zurich and FCL Singapore.

And also we need help so we open up for Intership opportunity for short period projects (3-6 months)

Our biotech startup is developing future possibilities of using mushroom technology as sustainable building material. The basic technology principles is similar like Tempeh, Yes tempeh our beloved food.

We are prefer person who love working in workshop with hands-on activities, and live in Bandung area. Our daily operation is on humble farm near Bandung City.

Kami mengunjungi pabrik gula di Majalengka untuk mengambil limbah tebu. Dan ternyata pabrik ini menghasilkan lebih dari 2000 ton limbah per harinya! Kalo jadi Mycotech kita bisa produksi 50 rumah sederhana dengan limbah sebanyak ini! @ Majalengka

Plus, the HIFA coffee system is wicked cute.

Selamat berbuka puasa semuanya!

Di Lab di lembang kami mencoba berbagai resep komposisi antara jenis limbah dan jenis jamur.

Ternyata perbedaan komposisi menghasilkan keunikan karakter material yang bisa dikustomisasi sesuai aplikasinya.
Kelihatan seperti tegel keramik bukan? Perbedaannya material ini diproses bukan dengan ditambang tapi dengan cara ditumbuhkan.

Ramadan Kareem buat semua yang melaksanakan! Lanjut lagi ceritanya. Kita menyulap salah satu kumbung jamur yang tidak terpakai menjadi ruang bentang lebar untuk lab dan workshop. Proses pembongkarannya cukup cepat dan tidak ada perbaikan struktur apapun. Tapi ya seperti biasa harus kita sterilkan kembali ruangannya supaya tidak ada kontaminasi.

Lihat perbandingan kadar cahaya yang masuk. Sebelumnya kubung yang gelap berubah jd ruang serba guna yang mandi sinar matahari. Suhu disini cukup sejuk mulai dr 16 derajat C sampai 24 derajat C di siang hari. Biarpun kelembabannya tetap tinggi di kisaran 90%. Ini adalah ruang bermain kami saat ini di Bandung. Apa yang ki produksi? Tunggu lagi ceritanya ya besok hari

This is The Club-shaped Cordyceps, like the other of this clan, they parasitized other fungi which grow underground. it consist of tall, smooth, yellow stem which terminates in a club-shaped excrescence, covered when mature with the white powdery spores.

This fungus has an irregular, cylindrical, swollen shape, very much as its sinister english name “The Dead Man’s Fingers”.
it is common and inedible, growing in twos or threes at the base of beech stumps or those of other broad-leaved trees.

this perculiar-looking fungus looks something like a colar fungus or even a lichen. It’s colored like the wick of an extinguished candle.

The extremities look like the antlers of a deer, and the same time they flatten and become covered with a white mass of spores where the branching occurs.

When you found it on the woods and feel really starving, you can eat this fungus!

Laboratorium kami merupakan gabungan dari Arsitektur dan Mikrobiologi sehingga sebagian dr lab ini adalah workshop purwarupa dengan berbagai macam alat pertukangan. Dari circular saw, sanding belt, laser cutting, mesin hotpress, oven pengering, dan banyak lagi lainnya. Pokoknya semua yang kita imajinasikan bisa diwujudkan disini.
Lab ini juga mempunyai standar safety dan higienitas yang baik. Kita belajar banyak dari standardisasi yang diterapkan disini untuk bisa diaplikasikan di lab kami di Indonesia 😉.

Dalam projek riset ini kami dibantu sama tim internasional dari ETH Zurich dan NUS Singapore. Asal negaranya pun bermacam macam. Ada yang dari Jerman, Iran, Singapura, Swiss, Belgia, Indonesia. Sehingga obrolan diskusi saat riset pun sangat beragam.

NUS saat ini merupakan universitas no.1 di Asia di bidang teknologi dan riset karena keberagaman yang ada di dalamnya. Setiap orang unik dan punya sudut pandang yang berbeda dalam melihat suatu solusi.
