ok, it's official: the Indonesian corner of the menu is open for business... mie goreng like in this photo, nasi goreng, lumpia and sate ayam.

not only that, the freshly printed menu includes new prices - new cheaper prices. not often you see that!

surf's up down at padma apparently...drop by the island on your way home for a fresh juice, a burger with the lot, a macchiato, a pizza gamberi...options aplenty. great food, friendly prices

sc*****er! we are trying to be really patient and wait for the new menus to arrive from the printers but a laminated malfunction is standing between us, you and new mie goreng, nasi goreng, chicken satay and vege spring rolls. I say "no more!" - feel free to ask padmy if she'll make you one to try in the meantime...

coming soon (give us till wednesday): the best 30.000 nasi goreng in bali. home made in almost every way - the fried shallots, the pickled cucumber, the (very) spicy tomato sambal - it comes with the fresh leaves called lalapan and some crunchy onion krupuk bawang crackers. well done padmi and komang. these will walk out the door, smothered in kecap manis and washed down with a bintang or two...

changes are on their way at the island cafe. our goal this year is to improve our pizzas even more (we have had serious approvals from authentic Italian pizza lovers so we are well on the way) and make them a delivery favourite all around legian and seminyak. any honest reviews on tripadvisor or feedback from our friends here would be much appreciated as we try to expand our social media outreach. happy new year: we hope you have as much success as we plan to in 2013!
